Air Academy Federal Credit Union is committed to strengthening the local communities
in which we operate. We do this by donating many hours teaching financial literacy
to youth and
|
supporting programs like the annual Art Scholarship program in local schools. During
the 2005-2006 school year, Air Academy FCU reached 2,640 students in grades K -
12 with 106 classroom presentations about a variety of financial topics, from checkbook
basics to understanding credit reports. AAFCU also offers free financial seminars
to adult members about topics such as retirement planning, protecting yourself from
identity theft, and more.
We are also involved in many activities for charitable causes and events, such as
the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk
to Cure Diabetes, various holiday charities and more.
