Review your accounts on a regular basis, if not daily. You, and potentially your
spouse, are the only one that knows what transactions on your account are valid.
Financial institutions make mistakes and if there are fraudulent transactions on
your account it is much easier to correct the problem and prevent any monetary loss
if it is caught early. We offer a number of ways to review your account electronically:
the I-Branch, eStatements, and Voice Response. We also have an email alerting service,
eMinders, that can be configured to notify you when withdrawals or deposits are
made to your account, when your account falls below a certain balance, and many
other conditions. The credit reporting agencies offer a free copy of your credit
report annually. Get your free copy from each credit reporting agency every year
and verify the information is valid. |
