"How can I be assured that someone will not be able to access my accounts via the
web? I have a password set up but still do not feel confident that I am protected
from someone withdrawing or transferring my money to their account."

This is a good question. |

All communication between your browser and our Internet banking servers is encrypted
via SSL (secure sockets layer). This means that no one can listen in on "conversations"
between your machine and our servers. However, this security feature does not protect
the endpoints of the conversation, your machine and our servers. |
|
|
|
We have numerous security measures in place to protect our servers. To verify that
your data is protected we schedule regular audits of our systems by independent
contractors. This leaves your machine as the weak link in this conversation, but
there are a number of steps that you can take to protect yourself and your machine. |
