Looking for financial services designed especially for students like you?
Checkout boom!TM, AAFCU's club for teens. You’ll learn valuable
lessons related to making and spending money. With a boom! account you can take
advantage of the following (some restrictions apply): |

- Receive a Free Gift and Membership Card upon opening.
- Checking Account (joint with a parent’s signature).
- ATM Card or ATM/Visa® Check Card.
- Free Online Banking.
- Online Newsletter and Website for Teens

To encourage saving, we will have a special club – Club 1000. When a member
hits an average daily balance for all deposit accounts of $1000 for the first time
in their overall account history, during any given month, they will receive a $15
gift certificate.** All gift certificates are to Barnes & Noble – for books, music,
movies, and coffee.

Things to Keep in Mind |

- The account is also an S10, similar to Planet M. (We can differentiate between boom!
and Planet M with age.)
- Once the boom! member reaches the age of 18, their account will be converted to
a regular s1 account and they will be sent a notification letter.

*Savings Accounts must have a joint owner if under age 16. Must be at least 13 to
open a Checking Account; under age 18 needs a joint owner. If under age 16, must
have a joint owner for an ATM card. To receive an ATM/Visa Check Card, must have
parent’s approval. **Required balance includes all deposit accounts (savings & checking
accounts). Branches in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Monument, Castle Rock, Parker,
Highlands Ranch, and on the USAF Academy .
