Why am I having trouble transferring from my account to another member's account?The common problem when transferring from one member account to another is that the wrong account type is entered. The account type field is actually asking for the "S" type.

Why do I have an overdraft fee when the balance on the account shows that I have money?The account does not reflect any holds or charges that are pending being posted to the account.

How do I activate my debit card?Your debit card can be activated by calling our contact center during normal business hours. During non-business hours, please call the number on the card and you will be directed how to activate your PIN. To activate your card using an ATM, simply enter your PIN after you have swiped your card.

Why is my debit card blocked?To protect member's finances, AAFCU looks for irregular purchases made with your debit card. Once an irregular purchase has been made, you may be contacted to ensure that you made the purchase(s). If you cannot be contacted, your card will be blocked to prevent possible fraudulent charges.

I want to send a wire transfer, but I need more information.A wire can be sent at any of our branches or by calling our contact center. Wires must be received by 10:00 a.m. Monday-Friday for same day processing.
To send a wire transfer, the following information is required:
- Name, address, phone number and routing number of financial institution that will be receiving the funds.
- Name, address, phone number and routing number of the secondary financial institution who will be receiving the funds. Please contact the financial institution that the funds are going to for additional details. Not all financial institutions are applicable.
- SWIFT code of financial institution that the funds are going to, if the wire is an international wire.
- Name, address, phone number and account number of the person who is receiving the funds.
