Security:

  • What if my Apple Pay enabled device is lost or stolen?

Call us at 719.593.8600 or 800.223.1983, so we can disable your debit card for use with Apple Pay. Because your debit card number is not stored directly on your device, we won’t need to cancel your debit card. If you locate your device, you will need to add your debit card back to Apple Pay prior to making any purchases.

  • What is my Device Account Number?

When you add your debit card to Apple Pay, a Device Account Number is created. Your debit card number is not stored on your device. When a merchant requests the last four digits of your card number to complete the transaction, you will need to provide the last four digits of your Device Account Number. To locate your Device Account Number, go to Settings, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, tap the card you are using and scroll down to Device Account Number.

                                                                                                Apple Pay Security Question

  • How secure is Apple Pay?

When using Apple Pay, your debit card number isn’t stored on your device or given to the merchant. A unique Digital Account Number is created specifically for that device. Additionally, every transaction using your iPhone or iPad® requires you to authenticate with Touch IDTM or your passcode. Your Apple Watch is protected by the passcode that only you know, and your passcode is required every time you put on your Apple Watch.
