What's Changing

Transitioning to a new core operating system is the most complex project a financial institution can undertake. While there will be a brief disruption to services during the conversion weekend and a few changes to how we do business, most banking processes will remain unaffected.

BEGINNING IN MARCH

Members will receive two (2) statements. The first statement will reflect transaction activity from March 1 – March 19, but will not include any dividend information. The second statement will show transactions from March 20 – March 31, and will include dividend information.

The format of the second statement will look different than the first statement. The new statement format showed information for all accounts a member is owner on. Members who previously received multiple account statements will now only receive one consolidated statement.

Business accounts with an EIN (tax ID number) will continue receiving a separate monthly business account statement.

MARCH 19 – MARCH 20, 2021

All times listed are Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

AAFCU will close at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 19, and will also be closed on Saturday, March 20.

AAFCU will re-open for business at 9:00 am on Monday, March 22.

MARCH 19 – MARCH 22, 2021

MARCH 22, 2021

Our core system conversion was completed and AAFCU opened for business at 9:00 am.

Online and mobile banking, remote check deposit, and online bill pay, and shared branching was available at 9:00 am.

Members no longer identify accounts by a member number and account type suffix (i.e. S1, S12, L5, L57, etc.).

All AAFCU accounts will now be identified by a unique account number. This change is explained in more detail on the Accessing Your Account & Account Number Change page.
