Enjoying homemade coffee or hot chocolate with your brownies! Super easy and simple recipes!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate 

Serves 4

¼ cup cocoa
½ cup sugar
1 dash salt
1/3 cup hot water
4 cups milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon peppermint extract

Using a medium saucepan, add cocoa, sugar, salt and hot water and bring it to a boil. Add milk, vanilla extract and peppermint extract and lower the heat to medium to prevent any boiling. Once it's thoroughly heated, serve hot in 4 mugs!

Caramel Cappuccino

Serves 1

1 tablespoon sugar
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon caramel sauce (ice cream topping)
¾ cup hot coffee

In a medium saucepan, pour sugar into milk until dissolved on medium heat. Using a hand mixer, or whisk, froth the milk and sugar until desired consistency. Pour hot coffee into a mug, pour frothed milk over the top, and top with caramel sauce! 

Chocolate Chip Brownies

These chocolate chip brownies are quick and easy. Any leftover dough can be frozen for later use!

1 ½ sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa 
4 tablespoon water
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
12 ounces chocolate chips

Optional: Caramel Sauce or hot fudge sauce

Mix all ingredients together in an electric mix or use a whisk to mix them together until you get a dough like consistency. Spread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes. Serve brownies warm. 

Optional: Top brownies with caramel or hot fudge sauce
