Samsung Pay®

AAFCU supports Samsung Pay for your Debit MasterCard®! Samsung Pay can be used on multiple Samsung devices including Galaxy S7 edge®, Galaxy S7®, Galaxy Note® and more! Samsung Pay is secure, simple and convenient!

Learn how to get started:

  • Add your AAFCU debit card to your Samsung device:
    • Open up the Google Play store on your device and download the Samsung Pay app

    • Open the Samsung Pay app and then click on “Add”

    • You can add your card by taking a picture of the card or by entering the card information

    • Verify the information captured

    • Enter the security code found on the back of your card, and fill in any remaining fields requested

    • Accept the Terms and Conditions

    • Once your AAFCU debit card information is entered your device, we will verify the information provided for approval. At times, we may need additional verification and will request you contact us at 800.223.1983 to complete the registration process

  • How to make a purchase with Samsung Pay:
    • To pay with Samsung Pay either swipe-up from the home button or open the Samsung Pay app

    • Select the card you want to pay with

    • Verify with your fingerprint or PIN and hover your phone over the card reader where you would normally complete a transaction with your physical card

The last card you made a purchase with Samsung Pay will automatically appear as your default card the next time you open the app. Selecting your AAFCU Debit Card prior to making your purchase will then make your AAFCU debit card your default card for future purchases.

When you add your AAFCU debit card to Samsung Pay, a Device Account Number is created. Your AAFCU debit card number is not stored on your device. When a merchant requests the last four digits of your card number to complete the transaction, you will need to provide the last four digits of your Device Account Number.

Security:

  • What happens if my Samsung Pay enabled device is lost or stolen?

If your device is ever lost or stolen, you can use Samsung’s Find My Mobile service to disable your cards remotely. Also, call AAFCU at 800.223.1983 so we can disable your AAFCU debit card for use with Samsung Pay. Because your AAFCU debit card number is not stored directly on your device, we won’t need to cancel your debit card. If you locate your device, you will need to add your debit card back to Samsung Pay prior to making any purchases.

  • What is a Device Account Number?

When you add your AAFCU debit card to Samsung Pay, a Device Account Number is created. Your AAFCU debit card number is not stored on your device. When a merchant requests the last four digits of your card number to complete the transaction, you will need to provide the last four digits of your Device Account Number. To locate your Device Account Number, go to cards detail screen in the Samsung Pay app.

  • How secure is Samsung Pay?

When using Samsung Pay, your AAFCU debit card number isn’t stored on your device or given to the merchant. A unique Device Account Number is created specifically for that device. Additionally, every transaction completed using Samsung Pay requires you to authenticate with fingerprint authentication or entering your PIN. As always, you are protected against fraudulent and unauthorized transactions with Zero Liability. Zero Liability does not apply to PIN based transactions not processed by MasterCard®. Other conditions may apply. See your Account Agreement and Disclosures for additional details.
