To pay with Samsung Pay either swipe-up from the home button or open the Samsung Pay app
Select the card you want to pay with
Verify with your fingerprint or PIN and hover your phone over the card reader where you would normally complete a transaction with your physical card
The last card you made a purchase with Samsung Pay will automatically appear as your default card the next time you open the app. Selecting your debit card prior to making your purchase will then make your debit card your default card for future purchases.
When you add your debit card to Samsung Pay, a Device Account Number is created. Your debit card number is not stored on your device. When a merchant requests the last four digits of your card number to complete the transaction, you will need to provide the last four digits of your Device Account Number.
If your device is ever lost or stolen, you can use Samsung’s Find My Mobile service to disable your cards remotely. Also, call us at 800.223.1983 so we can disable your debit card for use with Samsung Pay. Because your debit card number is not stored directly on your device, we won’t need to cancel your debit card. If you locate your device, you will need to add your debit card back to Samsung Pay prior to making any purchases.
